Nabil “Nivera” Benrlitom has been signed as the sixth man for Vitality’s CSGO team the organization has revealed. A transfer form Heretics has been completed and will result in the Belgian player moving to a position which leaves plenty of question marks.
While other teams are attempting a similar path (ie. Astralis) it will remain interesting to see how the starting lineup is chosen. Bryan “Maka” Canda, Nicolas “Keoz” Dgus, and Ali “hAdji” Haïnouss were also a part of a shortlist to be picked up according to earlier reports.
“With his versatile playstyle, Nivera will be incorporated as a permanent member of the team as Team Vitality cements its strategic vision and further strengthens its position at the highest level of competitive CS:GO,” the official press release stated.
The brother to Adil “ScreaM” Benrlitom, Nivera will now be playing alongside several players with a history of competing with his older brother. Dan “apEX” Madesclaire, Cédric “RpK” Guipouy, and Richard “shox” Papillon all played alongside ScreaM during their lengthy careers. ScreaM has since swapped to VALORANT.
“Having a six-man roster will play an integral part as we commit to providing the best strategic environment for our players to perform at their best.” said Fabien “Neo” Devide, President & Co-Founder, Team Vitality in the announcement.
