The brand new ESL Pro League team Swole Patrol has continued to make changes in an attempt to find its footing before the start of the season. The squad has filled their final spot in the 5-man roster for the IEM Sydney Qualifier and also picked up a coach.

Sam “s0m” Oh has joined up with Braxton “swag” Pierce and co. with Danny “fRoD” Montaner serving as coach on a trial period. The North American Counter-Strike legend will be making his debut as a coach, being a member of the CPL 2006 championship lineup during his heyday.

s0m currently sits as a member of the compLexity stream team and is an active member of the FPL circuit and Rank S rank.

Swole Patrol succeeded in earning the spot that Ryan “freakazoid” Abadir and his brother Austin “cooper” Abadir set out to, however, it didn’t end the way they thought it would. The younger brother, cooper, would leave the team for a contract with eUnited shortly before the end of the season which freakazoid didn’t take too well in the moment.

Since then things have seemingly smoothed over, at least in the public eye and freakazoid made his departure from the team as well. With the older Abadir brother joining Ghost Gaming, Swole Patrol was left looking to rebuild. They brought in Anthony “vanity” Malaspina and Victor “food” Wong several weeks ago and the fifth was left up in the air until now. At one point the North American side was in talks with Jørgen “cromen” Robertsen from Norway. Whether or not this comes to fruition is unknown as it is currently thought that this roster adjustment is for the qualifier only unless things go too well to ignore.
