Natus Vincere is looking to make a pretty monumental change it seems as a report from Dexerto claims the organization is looking to replace Danylo “Zeus” Teslenko.
The Counter-Strike scene veteran and current Na’Vi in-game leader will be playing his final event with the team in Moscow at the BLAST Pro Series event according to the report.
While no potential replacements are listed, the recent addition of Kirill “Boombl4” Mikhailov opens the door to either an in-game leader or a different role as Boombl4 has shown what he’s capable of in that capacity in the past. Upon his departure, it is also unknown as to whether Zeus will move into retirement or seek a new team to compete with.
The team is currently competing with Zeus in Berlin at the StarLadder Major where they’ve earned their place in the Champions Stage. The team is set to play the North American side of NRG in the quarterfinals.
Zeus has been a member of Na’Vi on more than one occasion and in his recent tenure helped to lead the squad to several tournament victories including StarSeries Season 5, ESL One: Cologne 2018, and StarSeries Season 7.
