compLexity recently revealed the addition of Ricardo “Rickeh” Mulholland and Jordan “n0thing” Gilbert to the squad, the latter on a seemingly temporary basis. With a January 1 roster lock deadline for the IEM Katowice Major, compLexity made the moves during the holiday season and will be looking to warm up with the squad in California.
Astralis will come into the event still holding their staggering lead as the favorite to walk away with the trophy. The Danish squad was rated the number one team in the world for a majority of 2018 and took home double-digit tournament wins in the year. FaZe had been seen as Astralis’ biggest competitor but fell off hard for the last part of the year and have now decided to replace Finn “karrigan” Andersen who has ended up on a short-term contract with Envy.
