Heroic have announced their replacement for Luis “peacemaker” Tadeu in the coaching role. Frederik “LOMME” Nielsen will join the team as coach, helping to guide the team even further up the rankings.

The team had been without a coach since peacemaker’s departure ahead of ESL One Cologne. His 25-year-old replacement is a former 1.6 professional player who had formerly coached Heroic upon its inception, although his stay was brief at two months.

During his time as a professional player year played for teams such as Reason with whom he competed at the first two CS:GO Majors, DreamHack Winter 2013, and EMS One Katowice 2014.

LOMME made his coaching debut in 2016 with Team X who would later go on to become Heroic. He has coached North Academy, Tricked, and ex-Fragsters in the interim.

The new Heroic coach had the following to say as part of the official announcement:

“I’m excited to get this chance to prove my worth, this time in another role! It means a lot to me to be able to stay in this game and work with what I love. It’s gonna be a blast working with the guys and I’m gonna work hard to build upon what the guys already have and bring them to an even higher level in 2020.”
