More rumors have come to fruition as Cloud9 has revealed the transfer of Damian “daps” Steele, Timothy “autimatic” Ta, and Kenneth “koosta” Suen to Gen.G.

Gen.G has confirmed the announcement from their side as well with a post revealing their new CS:GO division. The two remaining roster spots have not been revealed at this time. The organization stated “two more players will be announced in the coming weeks” in the official announcement via Twitter.

The first rumors began to circulate following Cloud9’s last outing at BLAST Pro Series Copenhagen where they only managed one draw and four losses. The team then pulled out of DreamHack Open Atlanta citing “team issues.”

Cloud9’s assistant coach has followed the trio over and will serve as head coach for the new division of Gen.G.

This leaves Cloud9 CS:GO down to just Oscar “mixwell” Cañellas, a benched Tyson “TenZ” Ngo, and head coach James “JamezIRL” Macaulay. JamezIRL said Cloud9 sees this as a chance to rebuild and will announce plans in the future.

With so many players recently being picked up or transferred as Complexity, OG, and others join and rebuild, it is hard to pick who exactly could end up on either team.

Gen.G CS:GO division:

 Timothy “autimatic” Ta
 Damian “daps” Steele
 Kenneth “koosta” Suen

 Chris “Elmapuddy” Tebbit (coach)
