Gambit esports has released Andrey “B1ad3” Gorodenskiy and Vladyslav “bondik” Nechyporchuk the organization has revealed.
In a post to Twitter, Gambit announced that the teams coach, B1ad3, “wasn’t fully able to implement all of his ideas regarding a desired structure of play.” They did however credit his effort and state that they “are certain that Andrey’s coaching career will flourish given that it was his first full-time coaching experience.”
Due in part to an alteration in “the direction of” Gambit following this move, bondik also makes his exit. bondik joined in place of Dmitry “dimasick” Matvienko back in December, 2018 on a two-month trial.
The organization will now need to fill two roles for the squad, with the fifth player of course being more important if they wish to attend events or compete in online tournaments or leagues anytime soon.
Gambit most recently failed to qualify for ECS season 7 and IEM Sydney and could not make it through the CIS Minor prior to the IEM Katowice 2019 Major.
As stated in the tweet, both players are not currently held under contract and therefore can join another team without the need for a buyout which should help them land gigs a little bit faster.
