Henrique “HEN1” Teles will not be traveling to the BLAST Premier Global Finals with FURIA as he looks for “new options alongside his brother” the organization has announced. After spending their careers together, HEN1 and his brother Lucas “LUCAS1” Teles have been apart for 18 months.

HEN1 has stated he plans to participate in Raphael “cogu” Camargo’s project alongside his brother and the previous MIBR lineup from the end of 2020.

“Throughout 2020, he expressed, always in a very clear and transparent way, his wish to play alongside Lucas,” Akkari said in the official post from FURIA.

“We were never hurt or resentful of this, however, the possibility has always been very remote. In Furia there was no space, our team is with a very well formed base and we are very happy with them, we had no way to join Lucas to this group at this time, and on the other hand, Lucas had not yet found a group that he was mega solid. So even though Henry wanted it was too hard to help fulfill man’s dream.”

The second reason FURIA came to this decision was one of commitment.

“Furia can’t be and will never be a second choice to anyone,” Akkari explained. “We are the largest esports organization in Latin America and will be among the largest in the world in the coming years. We want you to stay on our teams only those who want a lot, who dream of defending our shirt as do today all athletes of all lines.”

“Henrique did this all along. He fought, fought, vibrated, delivered everything he had. But now his head is in another possibility with all the justice in the world, it is family and with family is not played, but on the other hand we can not want in Furia who is not 1000% body and soul.”
