In a surprise move, FURIA have unveiled a roster change that will see Henrique “HEN1” Teles joining the squad in place of Rinaldo “ableJ” Junior.
ableJ “will be transferred to the team reserve” according to the official post from the FURIA website.
HEN1 has previously been inactive following his time playing under the Luminosity banner. He was benched from the team in August. Luminosity have since release their entire CS:GO division.
The 24-year-old will make his debut with the team at DreamHack Masters Malmö.
ableJ had been with FURIA for nearly a year following his addition in October 2018. He had been a member of the organizations academy team prior to joining the main squad. During his time with the team they earned a spot in the top 5 CS:GO teams in the world.
FURIA have had high highs and low lows over recent months. The team made an impressive run up the rankings, pushing other top teams to their limits and picking up victories at EMF CS:GO World Invitational and the Arctic Invitational. Lately, however, the team had a disappointing showing at the StarLadder Major with a 1-3 exit which they followed up with a loss to a much lower ranked team to be eliminated from Games Clash Masters, an event they were favored in.
