Five of the six teams attending the fifth iteration of cs_summit have been revealed. cs_summit 5 will place from December 12th to 15th at the Beyond the Summit house in Los Angeles, California.

MIBR will be jumping back into the event after missing the previous two even though they’re local to the tournament. Joining them will be another Brazilian side in the form of FURIA in addition to G2, Virtus.pro, and mousesports.

MIBR, G2, and mousesports are currently competing in the CS:GO Asia Championships 2019 and where they sit at 1-0, 0-1, and 1-0 respectively after the first round of best-of-threes. G2 were upset by TYLOO in their opener while MIBR surprised Evil Geniuses who are currently ranked 13 places higher according to HLTV.

Virtus.pro recently made a semifinals appearance at DreamHack Atlanta where they fell 0-2 to Heroic, the eventual tournament winners.

FURIA haven’t had the best run at ESL Pro League Season 10 having gone 0-4 in maps so far this week with losses to 100 Thieves and eUnited.

It is currently unknown who the sixth and final spot will go to or when it will be revealed. It is possible this is due to an organization swap or a pending roster transaction given the number of rumors circulating.
