Major winning esports organization Cloud9 has revealed a change to its roster following the IEM Katowice 2019 CS:GO Major. The team which saw its run end in the Legends stage has chosen to part ways with Jordan Zellsis Montemurro.

This move comes just a day after it was announced that Robin Flusha Rönnquist would be stepping away while Maikil Golden Selim makes his return to head the team from the in-game leader role.

Zellsis joined Cloud9 on a trial basis on December 29 continuing a string of roster issues that had been plaguing the ELEAGUE Boston Major winners. Although the team showed signs of potential during their run in Katowice, ultimately they would be unable to reach the playoffs.

The departing player shared some words in the announcement and plans on returning to the top again. “I still have a lot to learn as a player, but it was an honor to spend my first major with such an incredible group of players. Thank you to everyone at Cloud9 for giving me this opportunity and I plan on coming back bigger and better than ever, he said.

It is still unknown who will be filling in the role as the fifth player.

Current Cloud9 CS:GO roster:

  • Fabien ‘kioShiMa’ Fiey
  • William ‘RUSH’ Wierzba
  • Timothy ‘autimatic’ Ta
  • Maikil ‘Golden’ Selim
