The Danes are back in town. Astralis dominated their grand finals appearance at the StarLadder Major in Berlin to earn a fourth overall and third consecutive Major title.

After taking on two favorites to win the event in Liquid and NRG, all that stood between Astralis and the trophy was AVANGAR, the Cinderella story on the event. There would be no happy ending to this fairy tale, however, as Astralis seem to have reached the form of 2018 at the right time.

The Danish side wreaked havoc on AVANGAR on Inferno, taking the half 12-3 before closing it out 16-6 in their typical constricting fashion. Impeccable utility usage coupled with monster plays from the likes of Nicolai “dev1ce” Reedtz is too much for almost any team to handle and it was no different for AVANGAR.

Things only got worse for AVANGAR on Dust2 where Astralis once again stormed off to an early lead and never looked back on their way to a 16-5 victory.

Astralis have once again set the bar for Major trophies and earned the record of three consecutive Major wins, a feat that will go down in history.
