Gen.G has unveiled Hansel “BnTeT” Ferdinand as the official fifth of its Counter-Strike: Global Offensive team. The move had been rumored just days ago as many speculated who could round out the new roster.

BnTeT will join the ex-Cloud9 trio of Timothy “autimatic” Ta, Damian “daps” Steele, and Kenneth “koosta” Suen alongside ex-Envy player Sam “s0m” Oh in the lineup.

BnTeT had been a beacon of hope for his region as one of the most skilled players. Having been a member of TYLOO since March of 2017 when he was recruited from Recca, The 24-year-old will be experiencing a fully North American lineup for the first time.

TYLOO had struggled to find much success over the last year including a last-place finish at the StarLadder Berlin Major in August and most recently found itself knocked out in the group stage of the ESL Pro League Season 10 Finals.

BnTeT will be joining Gen.G’s lineup in the states following the completion of the IEM Asia qualifier according to the organization. The Asian closed qualifier will run from January 7th to 9th.
