Fnatic has pulled off the 3-2 victory over mousesports in the ESL Pro League Season 11 European grand finals. The Swedish side will take home the $110,000 first-place prize alongside the trophy. mousesports walk away with a check for $65,000.
Fnatic opened things up with a 16-11 win on Overpass thanks to a teamwide effort that saw young talent Ludvig “Brollan” Brolin sit atop the leaderboard.
The international mix of mouz managed to bounce back in fashion though, picking up both Dust2 and Vertigo to give themself a 1 map advantage heading into Nuke.
Nuke was a clinic for Fnatic, dominating mousesports in every facet of the game on their way to a 16-1 victory as Robin “flusha” Rönnquist ended with a ridiculous 146.9 average damage per round alongside his +16 kill-to-death differential.
The fifth and final map would be Mirage and would go further than any other map thus far in the series. An 8-7 half would set up a nailbiter of a game, but the heroics of Brollan and Freddy “KRiMZ” Johansson would put fnatic ahead. The duo finished with 113.2 and 116.6 ADR respectively along with +8 and +14 k/d differentials.
North Amerca’s season 11 grand finals will kick off shortly with Evil Geniuses getting another rematch against Team Liquid.
