Finnish Counter-Strike organization ENCE is looking to make some changes after the Major is completed it seems. A report out of Dexerto has claimed that Miikka “suNny” Kemppi will be joining the squad in place of Aleksi “Aleksib” Virolainen.
Aleksib currently serves as the teams in-game leader and I would assume based on experience that the squads veteran player and AWPer Alleksi “allu” Jalli will take over that role upon his departure although nothing has been confirmed.
The report states that this move will come following the conclusion of ENCE’s run in Berlin at the upcoming StarLadder Major. This means the star Finnish player will join the squad for BLAST Pro Series: Moscow 2019.
suNny has been inactive since his time playing under mousesports came to a close in March with the organization revamping their roster. There have been rumors about sunNy before, but nothing quite this concrete.
With Aleksib at the helm, ENCE has accomplished plenty to hang their hat on including a few finals appearances including the IEM Katowice Major in Poland. His future is currently unknown although many are already speculating he could be heading to FaZe, a team in desperate need of an in-game leader.
Rumored ENCE CS:GO roster following the StarLadder Major:
- Alleksi “allu” Jalli
- Jere “sergej” Salo
- Jani “Aerial” Jussila
- Sami “xseveN” Laasanen
- Miikka “suNny” Kemppi
