More changes look to be coming to the Complexity camp as Kristian “k0nfig” Wienecke looks to be joining in place of Rory “dephh” Jackson according to a report from 1pv.fr.
This news comes just weeks after the organization revealed the signing of Danish in-game leader Benjamin “blameF” Bremer to the Counter-Strike team. This move was followed soon after by the addition of former Cloud9 player and Major champion Will “RUSH” Wierzba. The two players took the place of Ricky “Rickeh” Mulholland and Hunter “SicK” Mims.
The report states that the Englishman who has been a member of the organization since 2016 will be making room for the Danish star who recently took to Twitter in hopes of finding a new squad.
k0nfig had been a member of the now-defunct OpTic Gaming lineup. The squad had been in an uncomfortable situation since the organization was purchased by Immortals Gaming Club. Due to already having ownership of MIBR, IGC was looking to sell the team and therefore were unwilling to sign new players to contracts as some of their own left for more stable homes.
This led to the use of several stand-ins, a lack of practice, and a continuation of some not great results. The team would decide to disband following a disappointing finish at ESL Pro League season 10.
k0nfig has experience playing in the states and alongside ShahZaM as they’d done so under OpTic prior to the organization electing to go fully Danish.
Expect Complexity CS:GO roster:
-Shahzeb “ShahZaM” Khan
-Owen “oBo” Schlatter
-Will “RUSH” Wierzba
-Benjamin “blameF” Bremer
-Kristian “k0nfig” Wienecke
