After rumors, reports, and more, BIG has officially unveiled the addition of Nils “k1to” Gruhne and Florian “syrsoN” Rische to the organization.

The two former Sprout members will be taking the roles being left vacant by Owen “smooya” Butterfield and Johannes “nex” Maget.

In addition to the roster moves, Fatih “gob b” Dayik has taken over the Head of CS:GO role, replacing Nikola “LEGIJA” Ninić who has now departed the organization.

According to the organization, these moves were made as a result of discussion between Johannes “tabseN” Wodarz, the team’s coach Tobias “tow b” Herberhold, and gob b.

While the replacement of smooya was expected with this move, it was also assumed by many that Ismailcan “XANTARES” Dörtkardeş would be departing so as to allow the creation of an all-German lineup.

nex was a member of the original BIG lineup in 2017 but had to take several breaks in 2019 due to wrist issues. smooya had joined BIG in April 2018 but sat out half of 2019 before returning to the active lineup.
