China’s Dota 2 Professional Association league has just finished its third week of action and with that, only one week remains for the teams to secure their rankings before the end of the event.

Many organisations across the Dota 2 community have put together multiple online tournaments to keep the teams and fans busy during the current global pandemic. One of these has been the CDA League Season 1, which features 10 of the best teams from China fighting through a period of nearly a full month for a prize pool of over $50,000. While the event has the likes of Vici Gaming and PSG.LGD participating – it also gives smaller squads such as Sparking Arrow Gaming a huge chance to show their skill, which they have done.

As the third week has just wrapped up, Sparking Arrow Gaming – who entered the CDA League after surviving a qualifier run, remained on a massive six series win streak in the event. Having already taken down Royal Never Give Up and PSG.LGD, with their last three series being against VG, Newbee and Invictus Gaming respectively. The relatively unknown squad, who are considered the youth team of RNG, have been prolific thus far and with only three series to go, they certainly have a shot at taking the top honours.

Following up close behind them, with only their loss to SAG on record currently, were the PSG.LGD squad, having looked far better in recent events since changing their roster a few times. Newbee and VG also found themselves in the top four, while Keen Gaming – after losing the final series today to LGD, are currently without a win and in last place, below even the likes of the unknown Ocean qualifier squad. The full standings at CDA League Season 1 after three weeks are:

  1. Sparking Arrow Gaming: 6 – 0
  2. PSG.LGD: 5 – 1
  3. Newbee: 4 – 3
  4. Vici Gaming: 3 – 1
  5. Invictus Gaming: 3 – 2
  6. EHOME: 3 – 4
  7. Royal Never Give Up: 2 – 2
  8. Team Aster: 1 – 5
  9. Ocean: 1 – 7
  10. Keen Gaming: 0 – 4

This coming week, from April 13th through to the 19th, we will see the ten teams battle through their final week of Dota 2 action at the CDA League Season 1 and by the end of it, we will see a champion emerge.
