In yet another roster shuffle, B8 parted ways with two of its players and announced their intention of starting the Dota Pro Circuit next year with a new line-up.
B8 carry player and one of the very few to have reached the 11,000 MMR milestone this year, Remco “Crystallis” Arets along with potion 5 support, Dmitriy “Fishman” Polishchuk have been waved goodbye. Both joined the team in June this year when B8 replaced nearly the entire roster.
Despite going through numerous changes since January 2020, when the team was created by the esports legend Danil “Dendi” Ishutin, B8 hasn’t managed to find footing in the tier one professional Dota 2 scene. Having rotated in and out about 10 players already, B8’s best placements are in the top 6-8 through the online season and although the team hasn’t been present in a tournament since September, the organization promises to not give up just yet.
According to the announcement made by B8, the team is “under construction,“ as they prepare for the 2021 Dota Pro Circuit, set to begin on the 18th of January 2021. Most likely, more changes will follow after Fishman’s and Crystallis’ departure, but for now, the team is down to three members.
B8 current roster:
- Danil “Dendi” Ishutin
- Oleg “LastHero” Demidovich
- Enis “5up” Elfki
