Complexity has made the plunge into VALORANT with the signing of an official 5-man lineup. The roster features names anyone familiar with the Advanced and Mountain Dew League level of Counter-Strike should be familiar with.
XP3 is a former professional Counter-Strike player who has been the coach of Dignitas’ fe division for years while C0M was a member of the Mythic Reborn Counter-Strike team in MDL up until his recent departure from the title to focus on VALORANT. AgM also hails from the title, having competed in MDL as well.
Ohai comes from CS and Apex where he played at several smaller LANs while Frisco also has a background in multiple titles including playing for Team Liquid in Overwatch.
Complexity joins a growing list of top level esports organization jumping into VALORANT with 100 Thieves, CLG, TSM, Cloud9, G2, Ninjas in Pyjamas, T1, and more taking their seat at the table. Many of the rosters are being built on a similar foundation of Counter-Strike players. This is to be expected given the similarities in the tactical shooters.
There are some players from other games like Fortnite, Apex Legends, and Overwatch making a them for themselves, however, and as more gain experience in this style of game their mechanical expertise may just allow them to pass by some of the CS players given the top in their field still remain in that game.
Complexity VALORANT roster:
- Michael ‘AGM’ Abood
- Cody ‘Frisco’ Day
- Riley ‘ohaaiii’ Nguyen
- Corbin ‘CoM’ Lee
- David ‘Xp3’ Garrido
