It’s a bad start for Tigers and their new roster of star players. Featuring veterans of the scene like Chai “Mushi” Yee Fung and Danil “Dendi” Ishutin, the team was expected to at least come close to qualifying for the DreamLeague Major. Instead, their one of two shots went up in flames.
In the round of 32, Tigers faced WarriorsGaming.Unity — which had their own roster revamp last November — and lost. This means that if they want to reach the SEA Closed Qualifiers at the very least, they need to do much better in the second open qualifier, happening this weekend.

If the team’s run is unsuccessful again, this could put a question mark over Dendi’s future involvement with the SEA organization. Tigers acquired the legendary mid laner on loan from Natus Vincere and he’s still officially contracted by the yellow jerseys. According to NaVi CEO Yevhen Zolotarev, whether Dendi will continue his involvement with the team will depend on Dendi himself, but also, Zolotarev suspects, on the SEA qualifier results.
If Tigers fail the direct DreamLeague qualifiers, they’ll have to fight their way through the StarLadder Season 6 minor. The qualifier dates for it are yet to be announced, but the event itself is coming Mar. 4-10: just four days before the start of DreamLeague.
The current Tigers line-up as as follows:
— (1) Mushi
— (2) Dendi (on loan)
— (3) Moonmeander
— (4) Xepher
