ESL is constantly striving to bring Dota 2 to the smaller parts of the world – creating events that highlight the regions prowess in the game. Now, following in this respect and in partnership with Mercedes-Benz, ESL brings the Clash of Nations to Bangkok, Thailand.

The Thailand Game Show 2019 will take place from October 25th-27th and for the massive audience it draws, Dota 2 will be on the floor as the Clash of Nations gets underway. The event will feature eight of the biggest and best teams from the Asia-Pacific regions all fighting for their share of a fantastic $50,000 prize pool as well as the title of Champions of the region.

Earlier in the year we witnessed another iteration of this event in the Indonesia region. The ESL One Indonesia Championship took place in April of this year and saw BOOM ID walk away as the crowned victors after three months of online seasonal play. The Bangkok iteration of the event will feature the winning teams from across the Southeast Asia region as well as the two top teams from the play-in which will take place on October 24th, featuring 4 teams including an India and Philippine’s contender with more details to be announced at a later date.

With the amazing success of the first Clash of Nations in Indonesia, ESL Asia-Pacific Japan’s Senior Vice President, Nick Vanzetti had the following to say,
