The Indonesian pride carry Muhammad “inYourdreaM” Rizky is back to BOOM ID and will compete with the team in the next season, the organization announced.

Departed at the beginning of the year from BOOM ID, IYD has tried his luck with different SEA teams this year, his most successful venture being with Tigers, where he also won the first tournament of the 2018-2019 Dota Pro circuit, the Dream League Season 10 Minor.  More recently, he played for EVOS Esports and fought for the SEA qualifier spot to TI9 but the team got eliminated in the group stages. Still considered the best Indonesian carry, inYourdreaM will take Randy Muhammad “Dreamocel” Sapoetra’s carry role on the BOOM ID roster, while Dreamocel will try something new in his professional career and spend the summer learning the ways of position 4 support.

“Their personality is very different,” said BOOM ID’s mid laner, Rafli Fathur “Mikoto” Rahman and continued to explain that Dreamocel is more “loud,” a quality which can be used better by the roaming support rather than the carry. While inYourdreaM is calm and composed, his international experience, gathered by playing next to David “MoonMeander” Tan and Theeban “1437” Siva early in the season, is also something that BOOM ID could benefit from.

All five players have signed their contracts for the upcoming season and BOOM ID released a video where all team members expressed their thoughts on the roster change and their hopes for the new competitive season.

BOOM ID roster from position 1 to 5

  • Muhammad “inYourdreaM” Rizky
  • Rafli “Mikoto” Fathur Rahman
  • Saieful “Fbz” Ilham
  • Randy “Dreamocel” Sapoetra
  • Alfi “Khezcute” Nelphyana

“We always find best player for every role in BOOM ID. In our opinion, the best 4th position in Indonesia is Jhocam. So, we’re going to try having Dreamocel play position 4. Many of you may be shocked but it was our choice to switch roles, so that IYD may continue playing his position, given he is the best player for that role. Hopefully with this new roster, we can get better results in future tournaments. To not only qualify to minors but also the Dota Pro Circuit major tournaments,“ said  Brando “xlr8” Oloan, BOOM ID manager in the official announcement.

inYourdreaM already made his debut with BOOM ID in the ESL Indonesia Championship Season 2, where the team is sitting right now in a very comfortable first place in the group stage with a crushing 8-0 record. They still have five more games scheduled in the first phase of the event, but given their dominant start, it’s very unlikely to see them dropping below the top 4 in the group stage and lose the play-offs battle.
