The Final Tribe Claimed the European Qualifier Spot for the GESC: Indonesia Minor

After forming recently in the new roster shuffle, The Final Tribe have qualified as the European seeds for the GESC: Indonesia Dota 2 Minor.

After proving their strength as they took down Alliance in stunning fashion at the DAC 2018 European Qualifiers, only to lose out in the grand finals to OG – The Final Tribe have managed to beat out PENTA Sports and claim a spot in their first Dota 2 minor event. The ex-Alliance strong squad took a 3-1 victory over their opponents in the grand finals of the qualifier, beating PENTA in the Winner’s bracket finals too.

With only the Indonesia Qualifiers left, which take place from February 22nd– 25th, the Minor is already sold out. GESC announced last night that all tickets for the event, sporting a $300,000 prize pool and 300 Dota 2 Pro Points, are now sold out. The main event in Jakarta, taking place at the Indonesia Convention Exhibition at BSD City, is set for March 15th– 18th with 8 teams from around the world.

The teams currently heading to Jakarta for the tournament are:

  • Evil Geniuses (Direct Invite)
  • Fnatic (Southeast Asia Qualifier)
  • Thunder (China Qualifier)
  • Iceberg Esports (North American Qualifier)
  • Infamous (South American Qualifier)
  • The Final Tribe (Europe Qualifier)
