FaZe Clan has officially released Filip “NEO” Kubski from his role with the organization’s Counter-Strike team.
NEO had served as a stand-in for the team as they looked toward the future after ending the trial of Dauren “AdreN” Kystaubayev. Being brought on in mid-May, NEO’s FaZe showed a brief moment of hope before falling back into the slump.
Things didn’t go so well, however, and FaZe is once again looking to make a change. The team recently went out in 12th-14th at the StarLadder Major in Berlin. The team was eliminated following losses to Vitality, CR4ZY, and Renegades.
According to multiple reports, the prominent esports organization is looking to bring in Marcelo “coldzera” David and Aleksi “Aleksib” Virolainen. This would require one more player to be sacked or leave the team in order to make room for the recently removed ENCE in-game leader. It is assumed coldzera is first pick as he and Nikola “NiKo” Kovač have not been shy about their desire to play together.
FaZe was NEO’s first real shot back at the scene following his departure from his long-time organization Virtus.pro in February of 2019.

-Olof “olofmeister” Kajbjer

-Janko “YNk” Paunović (coach)
